Height Requirements at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Typhoon Lagoon is one of the most popular water parks, and it’s easy to see why. With its thrilling slides, lazy river, and wave pool, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Best of all, only two attractions at Typhoon Lagoon have a minimum height requirement. Additionally, a few attractions geared toward little ones have a maximum height requirement.

This article will detail the attractions with height requirements at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

You’ll find that the thrill slides, including the iconic Crush ‘N’ Gusher, do have minimum height requirements. However, the lazy river, wave pool, and several slides are open to guests of all heights.

Let’s take a look at the individual height requirements for each attraction.

Typhoon Lagoon Attractions with Height Requirements

The following attractions have minimum height requirements at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

*While Miss Adventure Falls doesn’t have a minimum height requirement, guests must be able to sit in the raft on their own and hold both handles behind them throughout the ride.

The following attractions at Typhoon Lagoon have maximum height requirements:

And these attractions do not have height requirements:

Per Disney, the depth of the pool at the bottom of the slides and falls attractions averages 3 feet and 6 inches.

Castaway Creek, the lazy river, runs three to four feet deep. And the Surf Pool generates waves up to six feet high.

If you are concerned about tackling the wave pool with smaller children, you might enjoy a spot on the Bay Slides side of the pool. This area is designed for smaller children. Several large structures in the area keep the taller waves from entering the space.

Regardless of whether you do or don’t meet the requirements for these attractions, there’s plenty to do at Typhoon Lagoon.
